The trip has begun

Today my day started really early. At five o'clock I had to wake up in order to be done with everything when Sanne arrived at six.
After a trip in the dark to the airport, we finally arrived at Schiphol. Here we had to go almost immediately in order to catch our plain. So after saying goodbye to my mom and dad, Sanne and I want through the first passport control and our trip had begon.
After going through several other passport/ticket controls, we finally reached our gate. Here we had to wait a few minutes before the bus, which took us to the plain, left.
When we were in the plain, we were a little bit unsure about where we had to sit. Finally we found our place and we could sit down. After a 40/50 minutes flight we landed in England. Here we had to go through one more passport control before we could leave.
By the exit, we found Sinead. She is a person from the company and she offered to bring us to our hotel.
During the car trip, she told us all different sorts of things about Harrogate and the cities around it. After a while of talking, reached the right street in which our hotel was. So she parked the car and walked with us to the hotel. At first we couldn't find the hotel but after a while of surching we found the hotel and we could check in.
The hotel room is really beautiful and big, and we directly started unpacking because we wanted to walk around in Harrogate and eat something because it was already 11:30 am local time (so 12:30 in the Netherlands). After a while of looking around we went to a breadstore and we bought something to eat. After this we went back to the hotel to rest a bit before we would go out and eat some dinner.
